I'm sorry it took me so long to post something this week on this subject, but with classes getting down to the line and many different projects due and having my son home sick this week, it just threw a kink into my schedule. I'm having great empathy this week with Brad on finding information that really explains what this is and how it is applicable to what we are doing. Heather said last week that it was just to technical and I would agree with her. I would rather spend my time learning about something that has more relevance to what we are doing and can use now or in the future with our careers. This technology sounds like something that goes on behind the scences and is very advanced to work with in the design of bringing different techs together so that they can work together (?).

About Me

- Name: Cyn
- Location: Endwell, New York, United States
I'm a graduate student of Syracuse University with a MSLIS-School Media certification. I am currently the Library Director of a small rural library and love it!! I have four boys, with only one left at home in his first year of high school:/ I used to live on a small mini farm of 3 acres raising goats, chickens, rabbits, pigs, ducks and geese. Unfortunately, after my divorce I was forced to leave that lifestyle. While it's been years from leaving that life, I long to return to it "some day." I miss it so very much! I'm finally in a place where I can begin to think of returning to that lifestyle so I enjoy reading blogs about what others are doing out there living the dream!

I can empathize with the 'classes coming down to the wire' stress that you are mentioning Cynthia. I hope your son is feeling better soon and that he did not 'share' whatever made him sick with you! The last thing any student needs is to get sick right before final assignments are due.
There is just too much left to do in the next few weeks. For me, the big sticking point right now is the buILder assignment. While I like the concept of the activity, I'm spending way too much time fighting with the application. I'm also having trouble finding things on the public domain that supports my topic. Anyone else finding this?
I too am very frustrated with ththe buILder assignment. What frustrates me most is that half of the class has had the opportunity to do this assignment before and be evaluated on their results. Hopefully this will be taken into consideration during the assessment phase!
